Why EV Fire Solutions?
Most fire equipment suppliers carry lithium-ion products as one line in a broad catalogue. It's the only thing we do.
Equipment built for the actual failure mode.
When a lithium-ion cell enters thermal runaway it generates its own heat and oxygen, drives adjacent cells into failure, and can reignite hours after the visible flame is out. Standard powder and CO₂ extinguishers knock down flame without cooling the pack, which is why the fire returns. Everything we stock is selected to cool the cells, contain the burn and limit spread.
Independently tested and classified.
Our heavy-duty car fire blanket is classified A2-s1, d0 to EN 13501-1:2018 by SGS — the second-highest European reaction-to-fire classification, with the lowest smoke rating and no flaming droplets. Testing under EN 13823 recorded a fire growth rate of 0 W/s and no lateral flame spread.
Our extinguishers are certified to EN 3-7:2004+A1:2007, the European standard for portable fire extinguisher construction and performance. Full test reports are
available on request.
Straight answers on Australian compliance.
There is currently no lithium-ion classification under AS 1841. No extinguisher sold in Australia carries an Australian lithium-ion rating yet, ours included. Until that classification exists, European testing is the highest benchmark available, and our equipment is supplementary to your statutory fire safety measures rather than a replacement for them. We'll tell you exactly where it fits.
Australian stock, dispatched within 48 hours.
No twelve-week lead time from an overseas supplier when a site inspection has already flagged the gap.
We help you specify, not just purchase.
Battery type, charging arrangement, evacuation route, who responds first — the right equipment depends on all of it. We work through site audits, charging protocols and fleet assessments with clients, and we'll tell you when you don't need something.
Across every risk profile.
Mining, defence, hospitals and aged care, strata and body corporate, waste and recycling, government fleets and commercial operators. Each carries different constraints and we've specified for all of them.

How big is the lithium-ion fire risk in Australia
-
Fire and Rescue NSW attended at least 318 lithium-ion battery fires in 2024 — up from 272 in 2023 and 165 in 2022.

In November 2025, FRNSW attended its 100th e-bike battery fire of the year. Crews are now responding to around six lithium-ion fires a week — mostly e-bikes, e-scooters and household devices.
